This natural product has been used by the Incas for generations. Initially, the Incas made musical instruments out of bull horn for use in their annual fertility rituals. While making these instruments, the Incas noticed that they were able to shape and mold the bull horn. Thus began the creation of "Bull Horn" Jewelry. The Inca women wore bull horn as accessories for their main cultural festivities.
The colors you see on the pictures are the natural colors of the horn, and there are no two alike!
The front of the pendant has different colors than the back of the pendant (last two pictures are the back of the pendant)
The beauty of bull horn jewelry is in the natural mix of colors and the beautiful and unique texture of each piece, as you can see in this pendant carved on black and white bull horn.
The detail of this piece is amazing since all these work is done by hand.
